Reddr
Our mission

Your people should know when you need help.

We built Reddr because a panic moment is the worst time for technology to fail you. One button can notify the people you trust when you need help.

Why we exist

Safety apps were built for the wrong moment.

Most safety tools ask you to open an app, find a button, and wait while your phone struggles with weak signal. That’s the opposite of how fear works. When you need help, you need it now.

Reddr is built around a single idea: the server does the work, not the victim’s phone. Your device sends one tiny alarm packet and goes quiet. Our backend does the rest — push, SMS, then a custom in-app alert — escalating until someone responds.

We’re a helper, not a hotline. We work alongside 112 and 911, not instead of them. Every screen, every feature is designed around that honest promise.

What we stand for

Three principles, zero compromise.

Fast

Seconds matter

A small emergency packet leaves your phone quickly, so Reddr can notify the people you selected. Delivery still depends on your device, permissions, and connection.

Human

Real people, not robots

Your trusted circle — family, friends, neighbours — gets the alert first. Verified helpers in your area are a safety net for when you're alone.

Private

Your data, not ours

Location sharing stops the moment you're safe. Emergency data auto-deletes. You control exactly who sees you, when, and for how long.

The core loop

From panic to help — in four steps.

01

You press SOS

Hold the SOS button to send an emergency alert and the location available at that moment.

02

Your people are notified

The current emergency flow notifies your accepted emergency contacts and members of your own groups.

03

Location and witness video

Your alert can include the location available at the time of SOS. Witness Mode is for video evidence; continuous live tracking is planned.

04

Help arrives

When it is over, you can mark the emergency safe. Reddr never guarantees a recipient response or emergency-service outcome.
