Common questions
Quick answers
- Is Reddr a replacement for 112 or 911?
- No — and we say that loudly. Reddr works alongside emergency services, not instead of them. Always call 112 or 911 first if your life is in danger.
- How fast does the alert go out?
- Reddr sends the alert after you trigger SOS, but delivery depends on your device, permissions, connection, and the recipient. It does not guarantee a response time.
- Who can see my location?
- The current SOS flow sends the location available at the time of the alert to your accepted emergency contacts and relevant group members. Continuous location sharing and the helper network are not live yet.
